Tyas Sastradipradja started her career in the media industry since 1995. Her first experience in the TV industry was at Indovision, a leading pay TV in Indonesia where she was focused in building the brand through advertising and promotions activities. Tyas expanded her career in TV broadcast by joining Lativi (now TV One) where she was included as the pre-opening team as the Head of Promotions.
Having an extensive network in media industry, Tyas went on the next level where she joined Rajawali Citra Televisi Indoensia (RCTI), the first channel initiated by private sector in Indonesia. Her role as Marketing Communication continued to grow as finally she was trusted as the Head of Publicity. Her tasks were ranging from media relations management, development of promotional strategy, media planning, media placement, down to conducting a strategic event to build and maintain the popularity of various TV programs. Her counterparts were ranging from journalists, event organizer companies, media house team and advertising agencies.
With ID COMM, Tyas has been involved in several marketing communications project such as the promotion of “Bangkit” movie – the first Indonesia movie using state-of-the-art technique to show natural disaster events. Tyas also responsible in few programs like public health campaign supported by private technology provider and the development of 360 communication strategy for the Senator House (House of Regional Representatives). Her other passion is sharing knowledge through training sessions particularly to media practitioners to develop their capacity and competitiveness in the current Indonesia media landscape.
